Recently, an Amazon customer returned a product to us. But when we opened the package, we discovered something unexpected:

The product returned was not the original product we shipped.

Instead, we received a copy.

This was actually the first time we had one of these copies in our hands, giving us the opportunity to examine it closely.

And the difference was immediately visible.

Look at the Finish

The original Reborn product features a smooth, highly polished aluminum finish.

The returned copy had a noticeably rougher, grainier surface, along with visible differences in machining, edges and overall finishing.

From online photos, products can sometimes look very similar.

Up close, they can be very different.

And the fork is also too small to fit market standard.

Why the Details Matter

Quality isn’t just about the overall design. It’s in the polishing, machining, finishing, fit and attention to detail that go into every component.

That’s why we encourage customers to look beyond price and appearance when comparing marine accessories.

Design can be copied.
Photos can be copied.
Quality is much harder to copy.
